We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Leaving the car park we cross fields to a quiet lane, leading to Llansantffraed-in-Elwel. We continue on this lane eventually rising to Hirllwyn Bank where we will stop for refreshments. Crossing fields, lanes and common land we will have lunch on Gilwern Hill, hopefully, weather permitting with superb views of the surrounding hills. We return to the cars via farmland and very quiet lanes.
Some steep ascents but no stiles.
