A moderate walk in beautiful quiet countryside.
we walk on a mixture of old drovers ways, an open hill which takes in part of the Offas Dyke, coffee at Newchurch Church (probably nearer 11.30), some quiet lanes & pasture fields. We will be finishing with a visit to St Thomas a Becket Church in Huntingdon, an option to look inside this 13th century church.
Although I’m hoping to stick to the route we may need to take a lane back to Huntingdon for longer than I’d like to avoid cows (as I saw a very young calf out on the recce on 1/11/25.
