The walk starts in the village of Hurley, which we walk through and have to cross a busy road to start on the first hill into Ashley Hill Forest. The route then goes through fields and woods to Warren Row where we will do the final hill through Cayton park before lunch at Crazies Hill. The second part of the walk is similar to the first half of woods and fields but is down hill, through a deer park before the final 2 miles along the Thames back to the start.
The walk is part of the Berkshire loop of the Chiltern way so has some amazing views. If people would like to have a drink after the walk there are 2 pubs for us to choose from in the village.
Meet for a 10am start in the Hurley village car park at the end of the High Street, which is free.
Please bring a packed lunch and drink, as usual. No dogs please as we walk through fields with sheep and deer.
