Walk details
A circular walk exploring the varied scenery around Hurley, blending riverside tranquility with woodland climbs. This route is approximately 7 miles. Starting from Hurley Car Park, we'll follow the Thames Path westwards, enjoying picturesque views of the river, and the surrounding countryside.
The walk then turns inland, where the scenery shifts as we head into the beautiful woods of the Chiltern Hills. Prepare for a moderate climb as we ascend through the trees. The latter part of the walk is downhill and includes beautiful views down Prospect Hill. There will be a mid-walk pub stop at The Crown pub in Burchetts Green. From there, it's a short, final stretch back to the car park where we began. We will pause for a packed lunch stop along the way to refuel.
The route is likely to be muddy with deep puddles at times, so walking boots or wellies are essential.
