This walk starts in the National Trust park of Ilam. We walk through the Manifold river valley towards Wetton and return back to the park at Ilam We walk by the river and through woodland and also walk higher up the valley where sheep graze.
Please note that this walk starts at 9-45.
This is a beautiful area to walk in with a few stiles. We park in the NT car park which will take cash and card and is free to park with a NT card.
This is quite an expensive car park so car sharing is advised.
Latest charges are £8 for all day. Coins at the pay and display machine. Card payment at the book shop or the cafe, (the ManifoldTea room or Stableyard cafe) Also using the Peak District National Park - Ringo App.
Ilam Park is North of Ashbourne off the A52. Follow directions for Ilam country park. Park in car park near The Manifold cafe.
