Overview

This is an eight mile walk which follows the John Buchan Way from Peebles to Stobo, passing through some lovely open country. Although some climbing is involved, it is all steady and all on clear paths.

As this is a linear walk, walkers need to leave their cars in the car park where the John Buchan Way from Peebles ends on the B712, from where we will catch the bus to Peebles. This is a few hundred yards North of the village hall where we normally park at Stobo. (look under the 'finish' section for full details. There is also a google earth map to help show the location).

The bus to Peebles leaves Stobo at 09.15.
