Overview

Five easy miles of woodland, farmland and country parks. Not particularly hilly, this is an ideal walk for anyone considering joining Coalville  Ramblers would like a gentle introduction. Meeting point is the car park (free) of Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Wood between Heather and Normanton le Heath, opposite the wind turbine.

There are four stiles, no toilets or refreshments available so ramblers may prefer to bring snacks/drinks for the mid-walk break. Walk passes by Heather's answer to Jurassic Park. It is recommended that you do not feed the animals.
