We start by crossing Kensington Gardens and looking briefly at Kensington Palace. We then walk a short distance to arrive at the famous Portobello Street Market. We walk down the street market before turning off for Holland Park and finishing at The Design Museum. The Design Museum is free to enter and has a small cafe on the ground floor. There may be some special exhibitions which incur a charge (Free to Art Fund Passes) Bring a drink. The walk is entirely on good paths.

The walk starts at the 702 coach stop opposite the Royal Albert Hall at 10.35. If travelling from Windsor or Slough catch the Flightline 703 bus from Windsor Parish Church at 9:18 to connect at Wellington Street stop C with the Londonline 702 at 9.36, Langley High Street Toby at 9.50 at hopefully arrive at the Royal Albert Hall at 10.32
The walk will finish at the Design Museum, Kensington High Street. It is a 10-minute walk to the 702 coach stop Kensington High Street/Argyle Road back to Slough or Windsor.
