Overview

From Killin initially follow Rob Roy Way along line of old railway, then on to Killin Junction.  From Killin Junction follow line of Callander & Oban railway uphill to Lochan Lairig Cheile and Glenoglehead.  Rejoin Rob Roy Way and return through woodland to Killin.

In addition, a shorter version may be available if requested, omitting Killin Junction leg and staying on Rob Roy Way to  Glenoglehead (7 miles)

There are some sustained uphill sections on both versions of this walk, but no steep ascents.  Some sections may be muddy.  Have to cross busy A85 twice on longer walk.  Some paths shared with popular cycle route.
