We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We head in a southerly circuit from Kimbolton Village Hall across fields, initially to the west near the brook and then turn east and around Rowley Farm before dropping down towards Oakwood Farm through the orchards, emerging for elevenses with attractive views across the fields. Afterwards, and now joining the Herefordshire Trail, across towards Down Villa. Then a short drop down on a quiet rural lane (but still on the Herefordshire Trail) before looping northwards across fields back to Downs Villa Farm. Finally continuing northwards across fields; eventually returning to the cars.
A number of stiles, and there was livestock. When we return to the hall we can eat our packed lunch where tea and coffee will be laid on
From 2.00pm Hereford Heartstart will be running a two hour CPR training session. There is no charge for this as Mortimer Group funds are covering the costs of both the Hall and Training. Places on the afternoon Heartstart course are limited to 24, so if you are interested in joining, please book a place with Claire (claire.conway.edwards@gmail.com). You do not need to have walked in the morning to take part in the afternoon training.
If you would like to join this walk, please book a place with the leader, if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. If you turn up without booking we may have to turn you away.

Kimbolton Village Hall Carpark. Leaving Leominster on the A49N turn right onto the A4112 road to Kimbolton. The Village Hall car park is on your left as you head out of the village. Exp 203
