Overview

Our route starts with a gradual ascent along a wide track and paths to Twyn y Garth hillfort. On the top of this we will find a WW1 German Howitzer, one of Britain’s last surviving trophy guns. After a stop to admire this small but perfectly formed hillfort, we follow a minor road for a  visit to the church at Llandeilo Graban. We then head up onto Llandeilo Hill and Aberedw Rocks before walking back to the cars and cafe along the river Wye. There is one stile. Note the ascent which is quite gradual apart from the short climb up to the gun. Please contact the walk leader if you have any questions about this walk.
