We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We will head off up the lane and drop down to Darky Dale. We will walk to Gripesnest Riding Stables and continue on to Honey Hole where we turn towards, and eventually past Great Hagley, turning upwards to the Hopton Titterhill area. We will circuit from there to the left and round ( but below the top) towards Hopton Park. We’ll then continue rounding the hill, before returning to the fields and eventually the cars.
A rural walk with some gradual ascents. Some climbing but moderate. We will not ascend the highest hills.
If you would like to join this walk, please book a place with the leader, if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. If you turn up without booking we may have to turn you away.
Bring a packed lunch.
