Overview

This walk begins at 10am from King's Somborne village hall recreation ground.  Walking over part of the Monarchs and Clarendon ways crossing bridges over the River Test several times.  The terrain is relatively easy with a few inclines and two stiles.

On our pre walk there were two fields with grazing cattle but they seemed too busy chewing the cud to be interested in us.  We are not sure of the weather forecast but please bring poles if you use them in case of wet weather as there could be some slippery areas.  Also bring drink and snacks for a coffee stop.
