Overview

Meet at King's Stanley village hall at 9:45 for a 10 am start. The walk takes us through the villages of King's Stanley and Leonard Stanley, and then up along the Cotswold Way through Stanley Wood to Selsley Common, with far-reaching views on a clear day. We return along the Stroudwater Canal.

Parking. Free parking at village hall. Unfortunately there are no public conveniences here.

Dress Dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Walking boots are recommended; you may find walking poles useful.

Lunch / refreshments Bring a picnic lunch which we will plan to have on Selsley Common. We will stop at Church Farm, Leonard Stanley, with Godsells dairy produce for sale. (Bring an empty pint bottle if you want any milk).

Personal information Walkers are encouraged to carry identification and emergency contact details.

Pets Policy Unfortunately we can’t accommodate dogs except assistance dogs.
