We are the Worcester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A very rewarding walk with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Please ensure you bring sufficient outer weather gear as there are exposed areas of this walk. Please arrive at least 10 mins early to allow for a 10am prompt start.
Please bring food and drink for 2 coffee stops and a packed lunch.
The start, with free parking, is in the layby below holy Austin rock on Compton road DY7 6DL. The terrain is fairly level except for steep ascents at, Kinver edge and the Sheep walks. There are 4 stiles, one of which is hobbly.
NT Rock houses are open 10:30am to 3pm on a Saturday so, parking should not be a problem.
Car sharing. It's a 25 mile drive to the Rock houses so, please contact me on 07909 638793 if you wish to car share. Subsequent to the AGM, there may well be a WhatsApp group whereby walk leaders can communicate to arrange car sharing.
