Join us as we head out from Dingwall towards Knockfarrel, the local wee hill (total ascent 190 m). We will make our way up and hopefully get very nice views of the surrounding countryside, before heading down through a small woodland down to the Peffery Way which we then follow back to Dingwall. We will stop somewhere (maybe on the top?) for a lunch stop.
Please sign up by contacting the walk leader by 7pm the day before the walk.
Parts of the walk may be very overgrown: please make sure to wear sturdy footwear (no trainers), long trousers and socks to protect yourself from ticks. It may be muddy and slippery if it has rained. The path will be rough underfoot in places and some sections are steep (up and down).
Make sure to bring: walking boots, layers, waterproofs, sunhat, suncream, water and food to last you the walk.
The finishing time will depend on how fast we walk and how long we stop for breaks, but estimated sometime 14:30-15:30.
