A leisurely walk from Knowle to Barston Gate House - then back.
Due to lingering flooding of a path to Barston Church this walk will turn us back before the church and be more of a linear there and back with a big loop at one end.
BUT we will have a good chance of ducks and geese - which better scurry.
And the paths are currently rich in daffodils.
Still pretty muddy out there.
Four stiles twice - so eight up and downs (nothing too rickety)
All is quiet lanes, fields, tracks - and the chance of a bit of house envy near Barston.
If folk want a snack / coffee afterwards the Red Lion in Knowle is a possible.
OR, Knowle has plenty of cafes.
Please spread parking along both Queen Eleanor's Drive and Minster Close... Lets be courteous to residents and not fill up the side of the road in a block near the turning.
