A leisurely walk from Knowle to Barston Gate House - then back.
This is basically a repeat of 17th March walk - but will take the loop counterclockwise.
(IF its been lovely and dry, an extra half mile for banana break at chuch).
Due to lingering flooding of a path to Barston Church this walk will - probably - turn us back before the church and be more of a linear there and back with a big loop at one end.
BUT we will have a good chance of ducks and geese - which better scurry.
And the paths are currently rich in daffodils.
Still pretty muddy out there.
Four stiles twice - so eight up and downs (nothing too rickety)
All is quiet lanes, fields, tracks - and the chance of a bit of house envy near Barston.
If folk want a snack / coffee afterwards the Red Lion in Knowle is a possible.
OR, Knowle has plenty of cafes.
