Overview

A Circular walk from Lancaster to be led by David Dewitt of Fylde Ramblers. The walk starts in the grounds of Lancashire's first Asylum (The Moor Hospital) now residential. Down to the River Lune to Halton, then a riverside route to the Crook O Lune, then across the river back to the Lune Aqueduct and a short canalside walk to town.  Then a hill ascent up to Williamson Park and the Ashton Memorial nearby to our start point.
