Overview

From the starting point we descend from Pleasington skirting  the golf club in the direction of Hoghton Bottoms. We cross the river then start a gradual ascent to cross the railway line and walk around the Hoghton estate heading towards Riley Green. Upon leaving Riley green we head along then down to the river Darwen before returning to Pleasington via the old sun paper mill site and the Leeds Liverpool canal.
