We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Leaving the Park & Ride we will follow the racecourse to Prospect Stile with great views looking over to Wiltshire. We then walk on a downward track to North Stoke with a gentle upward climb to Lansdown golf course - on a clear day you can see the Severn Bridges. We walk along the side of the golf course until we reach the race track then back to the Park & Ride.
We will stop for a break so please bring a drink and a snack.
Please remember to bring your ICE (In Case of Emergency) cards in your pocket.
Meet outside the toilet block at Lansdown Park and Ride, Bath - BA1 9BJ. There is a £1.50 MiPermit parking fee for parking, (or £2.50 for over three hours), payable for those arriving by car. Payment can be done in advance via the MiPermit website, or on arrival via a mobile, or by using the ticket machine next to the bus stop, which takes payment by card or coins but does not provide change.
