Overview

Repeated by popular demand for Telford Walk Week, this leisurely paced morning ramble samples highlights from the T50 Trail, Hutchison Way and two Coronation Walks.  The lovely Limekiln Wood and Small Wood, meadows, parks and pools are all under an hour's walk away from the newly developed Lawley Village. You may glimpse the wild deer herd that lives around here too. The Grazing Cow near the walk start sells Hobgoblin, if you come on the walk you'll know how the beer got its name and logo! The views are stunning from around New Works with wide the open vistas across the Shropshire Plain and towards Brown Clee for which this walk is famed.  Lots of interesting local history to see with a listed old tramway bridge, well and remnants of past industrial activity and railways.
