Join us for a 15K loop from Shifnal to Ryton, winding through scenic lanes and quiet countryside. This circular walk links two charming St Andrews churches—one for coffee, one for contemplation with a sensory garden to explore.
We’ll set off from the clock tower in Shifnal (by Nan’s Café, What3Words: ///tinny.rural.prude), heading up Park Lane and turning left through the Hatton Estate. After a brew stop at St Andrews Church in Ryton, we’ll then continue along Grindle Road and through Grindleforge, looping back via Hinnington Road and Park Lane. Before finishing, we’ll enjoy a peaceful stroll through the sensory garden at St Andrews Church, Shifnal.
No stiles, just smiles—with two gates to navigate. Mostly dry paths with a short section of farm track and bridle path popping out into a small field.
🚶♀️ Meet at 09:45 for a 10:00 start.
🚗 Best parking: Village Hall car park off Aston Street (What3Words: ///escapades.mourner.intruders).
