Overview

On this walk we explore the ancient Forest of Wychwood taking a beautiful path through the heart of the forest. We continue through the villages of Finstock and Ramsden with superb views of the Thames valley towards the Berkshire Downs. Then return to the village of Leafield.

We will start at Leafield village hall car park which is free and has lots of space. 
Please bring a packed lunch, drinks and lots of snacks as this is a long walk.

It might be muddy so please wear walking boots. Gaiters and walking poles may be a good idea. Don’t forget your waterproofs as the route is quite exposed in places and we may get a drenching !  Or, if we are very lucky….don't forget your sunglasses and sun cream !

Dogs on short leads are welcome.

We encourage car sharing but for personnel safety reasons we cannot organise this.
