This is a pleasant walk with gentle ascents. It passes Lindean Loch which is a haven for birds and flowers, the species vary depending on the season. We will have coffee at Whitmuirhall Loch before walking to Lindean Loch, visiting a hill fort on the way. We will stop for lunch at Lindean Loch before returning to Selkirk. Mostly good paths and tracks, including steps and stiles. Sections can be muddy, walking boots and poles recommended. Possibility of cows, but hoping they are away for the Winter when we do the walk.
