Overview

This walk is linear walking on the flat for 10.4 km along the Test Way along an old railway line.

The route is mostly shady but crossing the Test is always interesting.

The Test Valley Rambler Bus 09.15 from Romsey Bus station to Stockbridge.

Return by TVR Bus at 15.35.  or  0.26 mins past the hour from Dunbridge Station, a mile's walk.

Toilets and refreshments are available for NT members, within Abbey grounds or The Mill Arms Dunbridge. 

You may need a picnic lunch.

Bus Stop at entrance to Mottisfont Abbey for return bus at 15:35. or Continue to Dunbridge Station for hourly train to Romsey at xx:26 past the hour. This will extend the walk by about 0.5m. if diverting from village centre. Refreshments and Toilets are available for NT members at the Abbey or At The Mill Arms, Dunbridge
