This walk follows various community routes and tracks between the leisure centre and Pontypridd. The walk has been timed so that we should be able to catch a bus back to the leisure centre that leaves Pontypridd bus station at 13:45. If we are running late then it can be caught at 13:55 at the University or Otley Arms.
The walk is mainly on tarmac surfaces which might make a change after all the mud and water that have been encountered on recent walks. However there are two sections where it diverts onto tracks in order to miss urban sections; these may be a bit muddy but not sufficient to need gaiters.
There will be a number of busy roads to cross and it is unsuitable for comfort stops on route although toilets are available at the leisure centre (allow time by arriving early) and Pontypridd bus station. There are no stiles or steep climbs.
Remember to bring along your bus pass/fare.
