This is a scenic linear walk from Ramsbottom to Bury following the River Irwell through Nuttall Park, Summerseat and Burrs Country Park.

We will meet in the foyer of the Bury Metro tram interchange near the TFGM Travel Shop before 11 am to take the 11.05 am 472 bus to Ramsbottom.  This is a 25 minute journey and we will exit the bus at Bridge Street, Ramsbottom, near the train station which is where the walk starts at approximately 11.30.

Alternatively, meet at walk start at 11.30 - Ramsbottom Station, Bridge Street, Ramsbottom and make your own way back to Ramsbottom after the walk.

There is plenty of parking in Bury but don't forget your Travel Pass if using public transport.
