We are the Rochdale Ramblers. The Rochdale Group was established in October 1994 and are part of the Manchester and High Peak Area of the Ramblers Association. We welcome new and potential members to join our walks.

This is an interesting and varied walk including river paths and road walking. We will follow the river to Irwell Vale and then reach Edenfield from where we will walk back along the main road (great views) to Rawtenstall. There are no significant inclines and mostly we will be on good paths.
Please note that dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed on our walks.
Meet outside The Whitaker Museum, Haslingden Road, Rawtenstall. Please note this is via the bottom entrance NOT near the ski slope! Parking is free and available on the right hand side as you drive in through the gates or there is a larger car park to the left side of the museum itself.
