We are the Medway Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A pleasant autumn walk through Kentish fields and Oasts. We take a break at Hunton church for coffee and munch. We should arrive back at Linton at around 12.30pm where suitable liquid refreshment could be taken at the Bull PH if required.
Terrain: Mostly established footpaths across farmland with a little road walking. Rural walk to St. Mary's Hunton Church, then west along Lughorse Lane and north up Barn Hill and then detour to the Savages Farm house via the Gennings Dairy. Two stiles and one ascent.
Meet and park at St. Nicholas Church car park (Free). The CP is located on the A229 going down Linton Hill (500 yards after the cross-roads controlled by traffic lights). The car park entrance is to the left after the 30mph sign.
