We are the Vale of Glamorgan Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
After leaving the car park there is a short section of pavement walking, the remainder of the walk is on footpaths with a short section on a minor road later in the walk.
Morning coffee break is beneath Craig Lisvane, hopefully with good views looking over Cardiff and the Bristol Channel beyond.
The remainder of the walk will be in and around Rudry, using farmland and forestry footpaths.
We will then join the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Path with views of the South Wales valleys and beyond.
(Please note there is a steep short section of footpath with broken rock which joins the Ridgeway path).
