Little Wyvis is a fairly easy Corbett with stunning views over the surrounding area, including Ben Wyvis.
Leaving Silverbridge, we'll cross the 18th century stone bridge, over the impressive Black Water, then head across the road and start the ascent. We'll pass through some young forest, and through more open areas, as well as some agricultural areas. There might even be very friendly deer around, mooching for food!
It's a well-defined path most of the way up, then it opens up near the summit cairn. It can be quite windy at top. We'll retrace our steps back to the car park, taking a lunch break somewhere near the top (or at the top, if it's not too windy).
Terrain - Land rover tracks, loose stones, can be wet underfoot.
Kit List - Walking shoes/ boots; extra layers (inc. hat and gloves); walking poles; insect repellent.
Other - There is no public transport to Silverbridge car park. Please contact the Walk Leader if you are willing to offer lifts/ need a lift. There are public toilets in the car park and parking is free.
