Overview

Llanbedyr Horseshoe.

From Llanbedr village we have a steep climb to Table Mountain then onward to Pen Cerrig-calch then we begin a classic high level circular walk around the Grwyne Fechan valley. Our walk includes Waun Fach at 811m the highest peak in the black Mountains from where we begin a gradual descent taking in Crug Mawr then eventually returning to our cars in Llanbedr.

Start walk from Llanbedr Village Hall car park, NP8 1SR. Permission granted to use car park with nominal charge collected by walk leader of £2.00 per car.
