Overview

We walk through the town of Monmouth then head across fields and a vineyard to reach Newton Court. We then head north on a steady climb across English Newton Common giving views back to Monmouth. We then head to Welsh Newton village before returning to Monmouth via Buckholt Wood and Osbaston, passing the Archimedes Screw power station on the river Monnow.
