Overview

A linear walk from Rhymney, northern part of Gelligaer Common to Rhaslas pond (reservoir) and the Bent Iron - a memorial to former Iron works before heading south to Parc cwm Darran and Bargoed. 

Train 9.16am from Cardiff Central or join station between  - leader joins at Heath High Level 9.25 - to Rhymney.

Buy return ticket to Rhymney. 

Walk finishes at Bargoed for return train.
