We are the North West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
On leaving the village we head South onto the open moor and steadily climb onto the escarpment Craig Cwareli. The wonderful views of the Beacons become obvious and one realises why this route is so worthwhile. We follow the escarpment to the top of Fan Y Big and suck in the air whilst observing the “roman” road (Taff Trail) below us . The views North are just endless and the town of Brecon in the vale is so tiny. From the summit we descend the spine Cefyn Cyff and cross the valley bottom to return to our cars.
