Overview

Commencing with a walk along the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal we then begin the steep ascent through fields/rough stone tracks to reach the escarpment and being rewarded with panoramic views of the Black Mountains. After a level walk through disused quarries and Graig Y Cilau (National Nature Reserve) we descend via woodland paths and fields.

Coffee and lunch breaks (packed lunch required).
