This walk is the 5th of 7 walks, where we cover the London Capital Ring. This walk covers sections 8 and 9 of the capital ring as found on the Inner London Ramblers website. This walk will take in the Grand Union canel, Wharncliffe Viaduct, Perivale Park and Harrow school.
Note, the start point for this walk is Hanwell and not Mansion House, as indicated in section 8 due to where Hike Essex finished section 7.

The next stages will be arranged subject to engineering works on the train lines.
The walks will be a mixture of urban, parks and nature reserves.
Walk is on pathways, so walking shoes are recommended. There will be a lunch stop, so please bring a packed lunch. There will also be the option of a pub stop at the end, either locally or in central London.
The group walk at a steady pace of 2.5 miles an hour, and there is requirement of all walkers to respect the general pace.
Toilets – this is London, so toilet options will be limited. It is recommended that you arrive early and find a toilet option before starting the walk. On route it will be very much a case of us what we stumble upon, but we may have to use retail / hospitality establishments and purchase something.
