We are the Bromley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An introductory walk when new and prospective members will be made especially welcome. Maybe you haven't walked with us yet, or maybe you have done one of our shorter walks and are ready for something longer. This 7.5 mile generally flat circuit takes us from Keston Ponds past the Wilberforce Oak and on to Downe for a picnic lunch, with the possibility of a drink in one of the local establishments. It would also be possible to come back to Bromley by bus from here after 4 miles of walking.
Meet at Keston Ponds car park, which is also accessible by bus e.g. 320 (going to Biggin Hill) at 9.51 or 10.11 from Bromley South Station. Alight at the Fishponds Road stop and walk for a few minutes in the same direction. The car park is on the right-hand side of the road. We will wait for the 10.11 to arrive, but the 9.51 would give you a more relaxed start.
