Overview

It's that time of year again, when I try to recreate the walk originally made on 30 January 2019.  It had snowed overnight and stopped just before 10.00am leaving a couple of inches of virgin snow over the whole of the morning route and a clear blue sky.

The walk starts at the Green, Green St. Green, Snag Lane and various footpaths to Pound Lane and The Three Horseshoes pub for lunch (or picnic on the green opposite).  Then back via Halstead, Pratts Bottom and Chelsfield.  The route was originally planned to walk clockwise, and I may walk that way depending upon the conditions.

If it rains a lot there may be muddy parts; if it snows there is nothing like it for cleaning the boots whilst you walk.
