We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Pre-registration preferred.**
Slow paced 5.5 mile walk, Steps up at station, some undulation, but mainly gentle; may be muddy in places.
About 3 hours walking.
Route: Stanmore Common, Stanmore Little Common, Aldenham Country Park, Radlett Park Golf Course.
Lunch: Picnic lunch in Aldenham Country Park (loos) -drinks and some snacks available at kiosk.
Meet at Stanmore station (Zone 5 - Jubilee line) for short bus ride to Priory Drive.
Finish: Elstree & Borehamwood station (Zone 6 -Thameslink).
Note: the estimated finishing time given is a guesstimate - actual finish time will depend on the number and speed of walkers - as well as the weather!
