Overview

Moderate to brisk paced 10 mile walk over undulating terrain - drop-out* back to Wadhurst station possible at lunch-stop (1.6 mile pavemented walk alongside main road).

Route: Wadhurst Station - Pennybridge - Tidebrook - Snape Wood - Wadhurst - NE to the west corner of Bewl Water to then taking the Sussex Border Path back to Wadhurst Station.

Lunch Stop: at pub or cafė in Wadhurst (4.5 miles) ‐ or picnic nearby. (Drop-out point).

Meet at Wadhurst Station at 10.20.

Travel: London Charing Cross 09.15/Waterloo East 09.18/London Bridge 09.24 - Hastings train - arr Wadhurst 10.17.

Ticket/Fare: Buy Off-Peak Return to Wadhurst.
