5 miles at an easy pace. Flat for almost the entire length, but with a steepish hill towards the end. This walk includes the Thames and Jubilee Rivers, Boulters Lock, Ray Mill Island (a popular destination for excursions in the Victorian era); and you can see a magnificent Jacobean mansion of which you may be able to get a closer view by leaving the road.
Possible drop out point after 3 miles.
