A walk around the river valleys of the Low Weald with fine views of the South Downs Escarpment. We start at the isolated 13th century Isfield Church before finding the Sussex Ouse Valley Walk along to Newick to admire the wonderful village green. It's then only a short walk to Fletching for lunch and a chance to drink in the delightful pub garden at The Griffin. Our return to Isfield takes in a private landing strip aka Piltdown International Airport, the stately pile of Buckham Hill House, an erie dismantled railway and the manicured fairways of the East Sussex National Golf Club.
