We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This Sunday ramble takes us up onto the Marlborough Downs where, weather permitting, we should have fantastic views across the Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Beauty. The walk comprises wide tracks and grassy paths which can be overgrown in places. After reaching Barbury Hill where the Iron Age hill fort is situated, we return through fields where the Sarsen Stones can still be clearly seen. Map: EX157. Everyone is welcome. There will be two stops during the day for coffee and lunch (please bring a picnic)
