Overview

6 miles, mostly riverside. Easy to moderate flat walk. 

Route: Marlow to Cookham.

Food: Picnic only. Tea shop and/or pub in Cookham at end of walk.

Travel: 10.32am Paddington to Maidenhead on Elizabeth Line (Freedom Pass valid).  Then 11.33 from Maidenhead to Marlow.  Buy return ticket from Maidenhead to Marlow costing £3.95 with Senior Rail Card.

Finish: Cookham where there is the chance to take in the Stanley Spencer Gallery.

Return: train from Cookham to Maidenhead, then Elizabeth Line, Maidenhead to Paddington (every 15 mins).
