Overview

From Mary Tavy we walk to Peter Tavy, then uphill to the moor. At Stephen's Grave we head for Wapsworthy, with beautiful views towards Tavy Cleave. We then walk along the lane to Hill Bridge, where we'll have a lunch break on the bank of the River Tavy. We then walk along the leat through Creason Wood, to Horndon and Mary Tavy.

Paths, rough moorland tracks, ups and downs, wet underfoot, some road walking.

The last section of the walk from Horndon to Mary Tavy we go through several fields - there are 5 stiles, including one quite tricky stone stile and 3 ladder stiles
