From Wardens' Wood via Wontley Farm and Winchcombe Way to the Cleeve Common Golf Club. Then following the Cotswold Way back over the escarpment, hopefully with views of the midsummer setting sun. Bring picnic dinner and a drink.
Please note no dogs are permitted on North Cotswold walks except registered assistance dogs. If unsure about the suitability of the walk please check with the walk leader in advance.
Wardens' Wood car park at Cleeve Common (also known as West Down). From the A40 on the approach to Cheltenham after Andoversford, take the road signposted to Whittington. Go past the church and turn right at the T junction. Go through the village and take first left signposted to Whiteways. Follow the road to the very end, ignoring the turn to Brockhampton.
