We are the Leighton Buzzard Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A flat walk circling round to Willen Lake and back again. We cross Woughton Park and Walton Lake as we enter Ouzel Valley park. This is a lovely park which mostly feels as if it is the middle of the countryside despite it being in the centre of Milton Keynes. We follow the Ouzel along a delightful footpath, passing the remains of ancient fishponds and a moat before arriving at Willen Lake where we can have a comfortable break.
We then visit the nearby Tree Cathedral, which is based on Norwich Cathedral, before we come to the Grand Union Canal which we follow back to the start point.
