This is a 6 mile walk- walking through the village of Woodhouse Eaves- into Swithland Woods, through onto Bradgate Park where we will stop for a drinks/snack break- there are some seats, toilets and great views at this break stop- Then on through Rough Hill Woods- part of the New National Forest- back across the golf course to Woodhouse Eaves. For those how would like to just do 5 miles they can pop back to the pub from here or you can join me to do the final mile on good tracks in Broombriggs Farm- The walk is undulating but no stiles or livestock at time of pre walk- good tracks and woodland paths. Toilets open at the start of the walk. There might be some bluebells in Swithland Woods! Not sure yet!
Parking is a bit tight at the pub so you may need to park on the road.
Anyway hope you can come along.
